No diamonds in this world can put a smile on my face anymore,
the joy of roses comes only when they are blossoming free in the ground,
The chocolates don't even taste the same,
They are just not my favorite anymore,
As the years go on and I learn the real meaning of life,
I realize that the perfect present is a prayer.
A friend that prays for you is the friend that
truly loves you,
Because diamonds get old,
cut roses die,
chocolate makes you happy temporarily
but a prayer......
a friends prayer can last a lifetime..
So if you love your friends
say a good prayer for them,
wish them well,
only those that you pray for,
you truly care for.
